Whilst the Scourge of Mousillon welcomes tourers from the broader Swordcraft community, we do have a process in place and limits on how many people we can accommodate at events.Β
Scourge has a system made up of 3 different hood colours to distinguish between people touring and warband members: Yellow, Half and Black hoods.
Tourers
Yellow Hoods are people who are touring with Scourge for the night for fun/just starting out with us.
Prospective Members
Half-Hoods are people who have expressed interest in joining the warband and trialling how they fit into the group.
Warband Member
Black Hoods are our warband members.
If you're interested in touring with the Scourge, please reach out to one of our tourer liaisons or our The Scourge of Mousillon - Community Facebook Page.
There are some considerations to be aware of:
Requests to tour as a Yellow hood must be before applications are closed on the Thursday night (~6pm) before the game.
We do not accept same-night requests to tour with the warband.
Maximum of 5 Yellow hoods per week.
History of touring with us does not guarantee future attempts, or exempt you from the previous considerations
If you have any medieval French inspired kit in black, yellow or grey, then that's great! Otherwise, we have a bunch of kit for tourers, so just wear some stage blacks or any dark coloured gear and we can throw some colours on you.
We have a couple of tourer shields (both left and right handed) and bucklers available to borrow and a limited amount of armour and weapons.
We also provide you with a yellow tourer hood for you to wear for the night so you match the rest of the warband πβοΈ
We have a variety of available soft kit to borrow. Come find out tourer liaisons on the night and they will be able to sort you out with soft kit.

If you require a sword to borrow, you will need to hire one from Swordcraft.
We recommend meeting there a little before the game so we can do introductions and a safety briefing.
On Friday nights we play on one of three ovals: Western Oval, Ransford Oval or McAlister Oval.
Recently it has been Western Oval but check the Swordcraft Facebook page or reach out to our tourer liaisons for any updates.
We usually setup on the Northern side of the oval near the carpark
We usually setup near the cricket cage
We usually setup on the back wall around the tree closest to the train
